Transport yourself to the medina of Essouria. The Riyadh is situated in a great part of town. You do not see another tourist for the last 200 metres of your journey home. What you do see is life, private conversations, deals, kids playing, food being made , things being fixed and made, yarn being spun and the beautiful Arabic language bouncing off every wall.
If you have never been to Morocco this is a great place to start, everything Morocco has to offer in one place without it being pushed in your face. Take it or leave it, live and let live seems to sum it up for me for the feeling of the place.
Although Frederic was very relaxed he did reply within a day or two before our arrival but as soon as he put us in contact with Yassine over WhatsApp the whole stay was seemless. Yasine is a real fixer and genuine good man, I am sure he could sort anything you asked him to. Sheehan looked after us with breakfast and other household stuff. She is a beautiful woman in mind and spirit and despite our language differences she became our friend. We are not used to having someone look after us yet Sheehan made a situation that could have been awkward so easy. Thank you Sheehan ( hope I spell right).
So book up, wander and relax, reset : relax your brain , that is literally how I feel after 1 week here.
Until nex time
