Sind Sie müde von einem Aufenthalt in einem Cookie-Cutter Wohnung und für einen Platz am Strand kämpfen? Wenn ja, suchen Sie nicht weiter als Papa Roys Paradise! Papa Roy nennt sein Paradies der Peace & Zufriedenheit Lodge oder der P & C-Lodge. Sein Mantra ist "Nichts tun und Erholung danach." Das Hotel liegt am Spring Branch gerade weg von Perdido Bay, ist Papa Roys Paradise ein kleines Stück Himmel. Sie können Kaffee in der verglasten Veranda trinken und nach Delfinen oder entspannen Sie bei einem Cocktail am Strand und Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Im Inneren gibt es zwei Schlafzimmer, ein großes Wohnzimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche und einen großzügigen verglasten / abgeschirmten Veranda. Für Ihre Outdoor-Vergnügen, es gibt Kajaks, Surfbretter, Paddel-Boards und sogar eine Rutsche auf der Anklagebank. Auf dem weißen Sandstrand entfernt, gibt es einen Pavillon mit Sitzecke und ein Grill. Bringen Sie Ihr Boot und Angelausrüstung! We loved the property! We saw all kinds of wildlife: conch shell walking on bottom of water, unidentified huge fish sitting at bottom of water, heron, blue jays taking a bath, and best of all a small gray dolphin 3’ from shore. It was also a full moon so we enjoyed the moon and stars from the dock. We walked daily along the road and it was peaceful and friendly neighbors!

Beautiful beach house in a great location! Very clean and exactly as described. The private beach and dock were the best parts! My daughter and i swam and my son and husband fished. The water was warm and calm and they caught fish after fish. There were kayaks, life jackets, floats and more. We all enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Family Getaway
We had a wonderful time at Papa Roy’s. It was the perfect beach trip minus the chaos of going to the typical beach with condos and tons of people. It was very relaxing and cozy. The private beach and pier was perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, sand play, and hanging out. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need and was very comfortable. Michele was a great host and very responsive. I’d recommend stocking up on groceries and bait before arriving because it’s a little bit of a drive 20-30 minutes away from stores. We had an amazing stay and definitely want to come back!!!

Private Paradise
Had a delightful stay at Papa Roy’s Paradise. This property is ideal for someone seeking rest, remote from the crowds at the beach. The house is small and comfortable for us two, nicely furnished and re-done. The private beach and pier are the best features. We saw dolphins a few times. I caught a fish ( a drum I think) from the pier that was too large to lift. It’s some distance to restaurants and stores. If you’d like to take in some local color I suggest Pirate’s Cove, only 10 minutes away.

Great Fish Camp
We really enjoyed our stay at Papa Roy’s Paradise. The property has a ton of character and history. It’s obvious that Roy and his family put a ton of work and pride into building this place. The property isn’t close to the action which can be a blessing or curse depending on what your goals are for you visit. Good grocery stores and restaurants will have you doing some driving. That said the place is incredibly quiet and relaxing. Almost no boat traffic and the fishing is excellent!! We caught a huge variety of fish including reds, spotted trout, flounder, mullet, mangrove snapper, hardhead and sail cats, lots of pin fish and even a ray. Live bait and early/late fishing are key. The only small critiques we have are the main bed is pretty uncomfortable and the exterior lighting around the house could be improved. It’s easy to miss the walkway between the two houses. If you’re looking for a beautiful property, relaxing vacation and great fishing you’ll be hard pressed to find a better property. Thanks for a great stay. Ken and Susie

A trip to paradise
This was an amazing get away! The house was beautifully decorated, had all that we could have possibly asked for. the entire place is an expression of Papa Roy's dedication to relaxation and the love of the land. We stayed 8 nights with 3 9-year-old girls who usually need constant entertainment, but due to the layout of the land they were independent and self-entertained the entire time. We went to the beach 3 times and the kids said they preferred swimming at the house since the beaches were so crowded and the ocean was rough to swim in. I would definitely recommend this as a relaxing vacation get-away.

Our stay was amazing 5 days of relaxation. It was so quiet and peaceful. The kids loved the paddle boards and slide. The fire pit and tiki hut were awesome. We even saw dolphins!! Relaxing Getaway
The three of us had a wonderful time! The property is just as described and was very private. The only people we saw were on the occasional boats that went by. This home is beautifully decorated and the space well-utilized. All furniture was comfortable and we all felt at home. But, of course, the main feature of this property is - the water! We saw dolphins, a stingray, a couple of crabs, many fish (and birds catching these fish). We all enjoyed just sitting outside and taking it in. We went to Sunliner Diner/Fort Morgan one day and Alligator Alley/Lambert's Cafe the next. Our trip was short since we mainly went to attend my neice's graduation, but the area was beautiful and had more to offer than we expected. We would return!

Paradise Indeed!
Papa Roy's Paradise was a perfect getaway for our spring break vacation. Our girls loved spending time down on the beach playing in the sand and using the slide, kayaks, and paddleboards. Evenings were spent under the gazebo and enjoying a campfire. We loved seeing the dolphins most days and had luck fishing off the dock. Papa Roy's is a quaint and quiet property but within a short drive to activities in town. Michele was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

We stayed for 5 days, and though we had crappy, cold, and rainy weather we still had a great time. We fished and kayaked when we could. We went to Foley and the Gulf Shores for food and fun. The 24hr live shrimp kiosks are super cool. We would highly reccommend.

My kids said best vacation ever!!!
This was by far the best family vacation we have ever taken! We enjoyed some much needed down time and enjoyed the peacefulness of this location! We were only about 20-30 minutes from Gulf Shores, but only choose to leave twice to go eat and shop. There was so much to do at the house that the kids never wanted to leave. They enjoyed fishing off the dock, the paddle boards and kayaks. The hut outside was so enjoyable and relaxing. We enjoyed grilling, watching tv outside, and having a bonfire with smores every night. The view is amazing and we seen so much sea life! Thanks Papa Roy for sharing your paradise with us! We can't wait to return!
