Gut: Personal & Service
Verbesserungswürdig: Komfort des Zimmers
Ok for a few nights
Upon arrival we were told that the electricity in El Nido was shut off every day for a few hours. Our room was equiped with an aircon and a fan. During brown outs the ceiling fan, lights and tv kept working , only the air con was off. So, that was ok. It was rainy season so it was quite bearable with only fan. The bathroom was spacious, yet not to our taste. The sink seemed clogged as water would stand when using it. And the shower was not clean. Upon arrival there was a lot of sand on the shower floor. The shower tiles were yellowed from use & not as clean as they could be. Overall it could use a real cleaning. The bathroom ceiling was moldy Our room 202 had a balcony. Good for drying clothes after an island tour.
Breakfast was ok. Catered to the pilipino palate: corned beef, dried fish, pan de sal, toast, fresh omelette station, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice etc. Waiters were very friendly.
Reception was very friendly and helpful, too.
Its located 1 min walk to the Artcafe. And a grocery store is right in front of the hotel. Tricycles are standing in front of the hotel most of the time. A trip to las cabanas beach cost us 150 one way. And took 15 minutes.
We ate dinner one time in the breakfast room/ restaurant. Food – sinigang and adobo- was delicious.
Wifi is only available in the lobby.
