We stayed here for a weekend of shopping and to go to a Vikings game. The hotel, although older, has been refreshed and renovated. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The common areas were clean and well maintained. We had a King room which was clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfy and the linens were nice. Shower pressure was a lot that rivals our pressure washer at home with plenty of hot water to go around. Our bed was made everyday, garbage's were changed, and we got new towels which was a nice treat. We did have a room away from the elevator and we were glad we did because I think it would have been louder having stayed closer to that. I did notice a few paint chips around the window that were missed as well as an electrical outlet cover was missing but that didn't deter us from the overall stay. The only thing we were disappointed with was the breakfast. It was decent for us for the three mornings we were there, but it was repetitive. Waffles, bagels, bread for toast, muffins, cereal, yogurt, apples, instant oatmeal, sausages, and not the greatest of eggs were served. I don't personally eat a large breakfast, and the bagels and yogurt were fine for me, but anyone wanting anything more would be disappointed. Juice machine was broken the entire time we were there so our only option was water coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Again, not a big deal as we had coffee and water, but it would have been nice to have some juice. Overall it was a great stay for our needs.
