The checkin process was simple. That's where the good experience ended. The room we were given, Room 106, was located downstairs from the main floor, in rhe back of the hotel. The windows could not be opened either for light or fresh air, as they were located directly on a busy downtown sidewalk. The room was overcrowded with large furniture and, consequently, claustraphobic, stuffy, and uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was knee-level and there was standing water in the tub/shower. We had reserved 2 nights, but only stayed for 1, since it was so awful.
