Bamboo House is a fully renovated mid century cottage in the heart of the village. It is set within a completely enclosed private tropical oasis comprising a main house with 2 bedrooms and a separate shared bathroom, and two separate guest cottages each with en suite bathrooms. Each of the four bedrooms are outfitted with queen beds, ample storage / closet space and double glazed sound proof sash windows with solar shades. Each of the bathrooms are bright and modern, and outfitted with Kohler fixtures. The kitchen is fully equipped with white quartz countertops, Kohler fixtures and Bosch appliances - plus various coffee making options including a Nespresso machine. This quaint village home has been tastefully decorated in a perfect blend of contemporary modern style and timeless island charm. Lush outdoor tropical gardens surround the cottages and include an outdoor shower and many opportunities for relaxing and al fresco dining. Bamboo House is located on the busy end of Dunmore Street close to the intersection with Clarence Street - which is home to the famous license plate wall. Bamboo House is also equipped with a 24 hour standby generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply during your vacation. In March 2025 another 120 gallon hot water tank was added to ensure ample hot water supply for all guests.
In off peak season, Bamboo House can be rented as just the main house (2 bedrooms and one separate shared bathroom), or the main house plus one guest cottage (total 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) or the main house plus two guest cottages (4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms). In peak season, the entire property (main house and both guest cottages = 4 bedrooms) must be rented. Please note below rates and do not hesitate to further inquire:
