Loved everything
We stayed here for two weeks and loved everything about our stay. We enjoyed cooking on the barbecue, sitting in the rockers on the front and back porches, sleeping in the most comfortable beds and accessing all of our favorite trails through the Katy trail.

Nice property
The house was nice and very comfortable. It was an older home and the floors creak when you walk, so it was hard to avoid disturbing the others staying with us. Also, we did not like the loud music that was nearby. And the people who stayed upstairs disturbed our rest at night (at 2 am) with loud noises.

Rustic yet Modern Gem in Defiance
This quaint property that was previously a general store has been beautifully renovated. We were very comfortable staying here with two adult couples and two young children (we brought our own bedding for the toddler and the infant). We did have to do some quick rearranging of some ceramic decorations to make the apartment more toddler friendly but for adults or older children this is a great spot. We were able to walk to a brewery a few blocks down as well as eat at one of the local taverns just a few houses down in the opposite direction. We were also very impressed with the breadth of kitchen supplies (even including tupperware!) where you could cook up an entire feast if you wanted to stay in. Overall we were very pleased and impressed with this property and would absolutely stay here again when in the Defiance area.
