Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
My best friend & I booked this special vacation due to my very serious health condition.We were shocked to arrive to a hotel being fully renovated, it was dirty, noisy, & there was NO pool access & more.For almost $300 a night this is unacceptable & that we were NOT made aware of this by EXPEDIA.
We entered a dirty lobby with a makeshift table.The staff that evening was not very friendly or apologetic, & very unresponsive to our questions. Staff other days were nice. We have several pictures of the dirty floor on which our room was located & where almost all rooms were being gutted & worked, ours was almost at the very end so we walked by all of this daily. We also noted unsafe conditions inside & out-we did notify management for their awareness.
At check out we were even told that we should never have been given the room we were in & were actually told that we should be compensated. None of this has happened by Expedia or the hotel !
Due to my health I have not called Expedia yet.They are responsible for making sure that all the properties they offer their customers are at the standard promised & if there are any issues that the customer is made aware. I have been a loyal Expedia customer for many years & hope to continue but this experience & some recent flight bookings makes me feel that that standards a changing. I hope someone will contact me very soon. The hotel will become very nice, but it was NOT when we were there and it was $$$$. Thank you. Please call me asap.
