A Hasty Getaway is the perfect retreat for couples, tucked in the woods and perfectly appointed. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is the perfect landing spot for your trip to Jasper, AR, Newton County, the Buffalo National River, and the Ozark Mountains. We are near the river, hiking trails, and popular attractions, but many guests never want to leave!

The cabin is about 1/2 mile off the blacktop on the Hasty Cutoff Road between the Carver and Hasty cutoffs of the Buffalo National River, about 1/2 mile from the Hasty Low-water Bridge.

The cabin is furnished with your comfort in mind so you have the best vacation possible!

The living room is spacious with sofa, chairs, and a beautiful dining table for meals or games. An electric fireplace provides ambiance and/or heat.

Stable, reliable, land-line based DSL internet service provides Wi-fi to the cabin and patio.

You will find plenty of power supplies to plug/recharge your devices. Television is provided through streaming services and it's working great!

Games, puzzles, coloring books/pens, and a wide range of books are provided for entertainment. We have a reference library that includes trail and waterfall guides, bird books, and meditation guides.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, serving ware, cookware, and about everything you need to prepare meals. Most spices and cooking essentials are provided.

Pancake mix and syrup, oatmeal, and granola bars are our way to start your day with breakfast! Regular drip and a Keurig coffee makers are available, along with K-cups or ground coffee. Teas (herbal and caffeinated) are also stocked.

The bedroom is a sanctuary with a queen-sized bed, luxurious linens, and the most amazing mattress. This means you will have the sweetest of dreams.

The closet has plenty of hangers and there is a chest of drawers to conveniently hold your things.

The loft above the living room offers two twin-sized pallets and is a unique place to sleep. Perfect for kids or adventurous adults, you have to climb a ladder to get there! It also makes an amazing reading nook!

The full bath is stocked like home! All towels and River towels. A magnifying mirror, blow dryer, and shampoo/conditioner and body wash round out the 'usual' bathroom essentials. Emergency items are stocked, just in case!

There is a washer and dryer and detergent if you need. There's an iron and small ironing board but don't think they've ever been used!

Yes, we are pet-friendly with no extra fee! Our four-legged guests have a ball and have never caused a problem! Bring well behaved babies cuz they deserve a vacay, too!

The cabin sits on about 10 acres with landscaping and private pathways to explore. Two trails from the neighborhood take you to the river. Over the years our neighborhood has filled up, but you will rarely see others! A picnic table, fire pit, and a BBQ grill to give you outdoor living options.

Enjoy our dark sky and stargaze to your heart's content. Marshmallow forks are provided for roasting hot dogs or making s'mores.

Our cabin is your cabin; we want you to enjoy it as much as we do.
