Charming A-frame retreat in a beautiful, natural, and private setting

Charming and cozy getaway on 14 private acres in the Pennsylvania Wilds with all the comforts of home. 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 modern baths, a large family room with the most comfortable couch in the world, a dining area with views of a private pond and forested mountains, and a wraparound deck. Idyllic setting with woodlands and a private pond stocked with largemouth bass, excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, and stunning night skies, plus modern amenities. Fully stocked modern kitchen, large capacity washer and dryer, internet with WiFi, satellite TV, ecologically sensitive heat and a/c. The house has a Ring doorbell in case you have any trouble getting in and have no cell reception—just ring the doorbell and we can help! The A-frame is close to Cherry Springs, Sinnemahoning, Ole Bull, Prouty Place, and Lyman Run State Parks and Susquehannock State Forest. It is also near ATV and snowmobile trails, and convenient to the UPMC Cole Hospital and the amenities of Coudersport.

Peaceful & Relaxing
This property was very comfortable and homey, and the amenities were as described. The view was fantastic and in a very peaceful setting. The location was perfect, very easy to get into town. I would highly recommend this property if youre looking to get away from the hustle and bustle!

Great place to stay.
This home is very cozy. The deck is a great place to sit, relax and look at the stars. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners are easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. One thing, make sure you bring all the food/drinks you’ll need as this property isn’t close to many things. Sheetz, Dollar General, McDonalds, nearby.

The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our family of 4. The location was great being only 10 minutes from Coudersport while still feeling like we were in a nice rural area. Absolutely stunning home and property. Most well stocked, well appointed, and cleanest rental we've ever stayed in. Owners thought of absolutely everything! We loved lounging on the deck, watching the night sky from the hammocks, and enjoyed smores around the fire pit. A true gem!

I am losing count of the number of times we have stayed at this beautiful house! The ability to enjoy the beauty of this area in a house with any amenity you may need is incredible! This place was beautiful, incredibly welcoming, comfortable, spacious, and brilliantly decorated. The hosts responded to the few questions I had quickly. The highlight of the trip, the night sky, was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin itself is an experience too! The notes left behind in journals by other visitors to the cabin were beautiful to read. Truth be told it was an absolute perfect retreat for my friends to get away from the city and into nature. Without a doubt I'll be coming here in the future, when the weather is a bit warmer! :)

Just Relax!
Do you need to relax? If so, you definitely need to go to the A-frame! This house has everything you need to relax and rewind in a beautiful setting. The pond is stocked with fish, and my husband had a wonderful time catching and releasing fish all day! At night there are about 1 million stars and it’s breathtaking. The house was extremely well stocked, and the owners have thought of everything! Just a wonderful place and we hope to come back someday.

Spectacular Star Gazing
We had a wonderful time! The house is bright and welcoming, with surprises galore! The hosts have thought of everything to make for a wonderful time away. Perfectly clear skies the first two nights. We enjoyed the view from the deck. As a bonus, the Starlink Satelite Train made an appearance the second night and streamed across the sky to our astonishment and delight. I highly recommend this vacation home to anyone who enjoys nature and prefers top notch creature comforts as well!

My wife and I stayed at this place for a week and it was amazing. My sister and niece came for the weekend and we all loved the property. We did some fishing on the pond and we caught a bunch of fish. We brought our to dogs that loved to explore the property. Would absolutely stay at this property again.

A Beautiful Getaway
The A-Frame was in the perfect setting overlooking a lake/pond and the hills of the PA Wild. The terrace made it very comfortable and convenient to view the stars at night. There were many things to enjoy on the property and all the many sightseeing were within an hour away. Good location overall and very comfortable and clean. Our stay was nothing but positive and memorable.

Great house!!
We had an incredible stay at this property. Star viewing was amazing. Views are beautiful. This house is not your cookie cutter, bland “run by a corporation”property. It is a cozy home in an amazing location! We loved the oversized super comfy couch and the game area. Deck is gigantic! Noelle was super easy to work with, very responsive and allowed us to check out an hour later than scheduled. Our family made lifetime memories here and we hope to return again in the future. A must stay!
My family had a wonderful time. It was inviting and well equipped with everything you would ever need. My kids enjoyed the hammock and feeding the fish in the pond. We got to see deer, a bald eagle and a bull frog. I loved the wrap around porch but also loved the basement area. It’s almost like you forget where you are where it’s nice and cozy. We were fortunate to have a night of stars and see the Milky Way. It was easy to get a hold of the hosts. If you’re looking to stay here, just do it. You won’t regret it.
