Situated on Alister Street in the heart of Port Aransas, this property is just a short distance away from the grocery store, restaurants, bars and other shopping. These cottages have been a fixture in Port Aransas for years and offer a truly unique location.

Located well within the golf cart accessible area you would enjoy the 5 minute drive to the beach. A beach access road located near the community makes for a fast and fun drive.

Whether in your personal vehicle or a fun golf cart from one of our awesome local stores the shops and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure the property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.

ACCESS CODE We have an electronic lock on our property. You won't need to go to an office and pick up keys. This code will be a part of the check-in instructions sent 30 minutes prior to your arrival. When you get in the area you can go straight to the property, unpack, relax and enjoy.

INCIDENTALS: The house comes stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, linens, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bath towels. There is a coffee maker.

SELF CATERING: All of our properties are self-catering. No maid or towel service is provided during your stay.

We partner with SUPERHOG for our guest screening process. The SUPERHOG application must be completed by the primary guest listed on the reservation, and the background check must be finalized within 48 hours of booking confirmation, in compliance with State and City regulations. Please note, your booking is NOT confirmed until these requirements are fulfilled.
Once confirmed, and prior to check-in, guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement that outlines the terms of the stay, which includes agreeing to the following:

-Abide by our rental terms and conditions.
-Provide a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card before check-in.
-Pay a non-refundable $50 damage waiver through SUPERHOG.
This damage waiver covers accidental damage during your stay. Please note, any damage incurred must be reported during your stay to ensure coverage by the waiver.

We had an amazing time and the house was so cozy and perfect for two. We also had our fur babies with us and they had plenty of room to run around in the back well fenced yard. Great place to stay.

This area is pet friendly which is the reason we stayed here again. However, that comes with some limitations as these need upgrades to ensure your stay is as advertised. Our floor had enough sand to fill the dustpan, lighting in the kitchen was not working so cooking in a cave, toaster not working. 2 calls to get assistance, no remedy for lighting. Instruction book does not apply to this location, information for tv, wifi was actually on the fridge. But it is pet friendly.

You’re only paying for the location
Very disappointed with this property. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a very busy season, but our unit was dirty. I understand everyone is human and things can’t be spotless, but my husband and I had to go out and get cleaning supplies to make it feel comfortable. Over the few days we decided to stay there (we left on our third day) we found dead roaches, old meat in the oven with maggots in it, cigarette butts by the back door, and bags of dog poop by the front door. When we decided to reach out to management the morning after we left, we were only scolded by not calling them and telling them as soon as we found things (which was not all at once, so we didn’t want to inconvenience our honeymoon by calling management each time). The yard was a major selling point for us and the location is prime. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops for the few days we stayed. We won’t be staying here again.

Tiny home
This is a 1 room 30 x15 cinder block building originally built around 1948. The only interior door goes to the micro bathroom. It has been updated and is decorated nicely but does not function well for a vaca cabin. I give it 3 stars for the location, bed ,& yard ( our dog loved this place). I have a list of thing I didn't like but will only mention the most annoying. There is no usable flat surface to place anything what space there is is used up with extra cabin bedding or decorations. No place for your bags but on the floor & 1 small hallway shelf.The decorations are cute but frankly just in the way and nonfunctional in such a small place. Second there is no comfortable place to set or eat. The kitchen is poorly equipped you will need to pack like you are camping including usable sized pots, microwave safe bowels, salt & pepper,and towels(1 supplyed).Everything we used had to be washed before using, no dishwasher so you have to depend on previous renter to wash everything properly. The covered patio is a pergola you can't use it in the rain & the furniture & grill are in poor condition. Parking is only 15 ft long , you will need to park in the street unless you drive an extremely small car. We witnessed parked golf cart getting hit by someone trying to get through the narrow street. We had a rainy week and had to spend a lot more time here than originally planned. This property quickly became very confining and didn't work well for us on this trip.

We loved the cottage. The location is great. We walked to the beach in no time. Air conditioning worked great. We brought our dog and the fenced in property was perfect. The only negative was the faucet in the bathroom. There was no water pressure. We would stay again!

Great Stay
This is our 4th cottage in the Spanish Village to rent and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit during our stay, but we enjoyed the covered patio area and the privacy of the fence. The yard was just big enough to give our small dogs some running room. The cottage is perfect for two. Decor was cute and the cabin had everything needed for a Port A getaway. My only critique would be the parking situation as you will have likely have to park on the street (we have a large truck) and so did the other renters. This can be tricky driving through vehicles. That will not keep us from visiting this location again! Enjoyed our stay!

Piece of paradise in Port A
The property was perfect for a couples getaway. The backyard was an oasis within itself with a pergola, great grass, and lots of seating. The property was clean, had everything we needed, and offered us solace. The only complaint would be that the wine opener provided was broken and mosquitoes came out in force after it had rained. However, a citronella candle was available for us to use. Definitely recommend this property for a Port A stay.

We arrived to dirty floors and a mild odor. The towels smelled and were stained. There is only on trash can in the whole place and that is in the kitchen. The ceiling fan in the living room area does not allow it to be on without the light being on. So the light shines in the eyes of anyone trying to sleep on the sofa.

Nice green yard fenced yard, good for the dog. Nice setting area outside next to the back door. The house is small, I would not have more than 2 people. Bathroom is very small, only 1 person at a time in there. It’s so small if your blue drying your hair, you will probably hit the wall behind you. The king size bed was comfortable. The floor tile is a bit strange. Don’t drop anything, you may not find it. Shower is very very small. But, all in all, I’d stay there again.

A good value and enjoyable stay for us
It is a safe and quiet area with access to many attractions.Lots of good dining around . Seafood, Mexican and burgers pizza. Parking is limited and if you have anything more than a standard Ford Escape size suv you will stick out into the street or have to park on the street. We would feel comfortable doing so as Spanish Village is a loop community void of any through traffic.. The place was well out fitted, quiet and comfortable. We boiled a couple of pounds of shrimp in the room and tried to eat a meal in everyday. In my opinion it is a two person rental. Things we would like to see are curtains on the glass entry door. The door itself could use a good wiping down as it is the first thing you see entering the unit and has a dingy neglected look to it. The unit has ceramic tile floors. At some time it looks like someone has applied a clear coating over them. It is bubbling and peeling and may give some people the creeps. I do think they were clean, just unappealing looking Mary and I enjoyed our stay and felt we were given a decent place at a fair price Thanks!
