Angenehmes, ein bisschen konservatives Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, aber nicht immer im Sinne von westlichen 4/5 Sterne Hotels geschult. Eher für die Generation Ü50.

We were here for NYE and the evening was fantastic, we travel a lot but I’ve never seen such an a amazing buffet. The rooms are ok but need refurbished and not as good as the Cinnamon Grand. Lovely pool and gardens and the staff are excellent.

Central hotel with great service

Pros: The hotel was like a complex - you didn't need to leave it should you not want to. Easy access to all parts of Colombo.
Cons: Travel options for group excursions did not seem to be available - this meant the more pricey option of travelling yourself had to be taken.
Location: Central location. close to Railway station, Fort area, Mosques, Churches, Temples and parks.
Stayed twice at the hotel. The initial stay was in the superior room. The room was clean, large with a small easy chair to relax in. Bathroom had a bath with a good shower attachment. The beds were of a good quality and had a great night sleep. The air con was a great addition due to the hot weather. There is a great spa and 'feet' - allowing you to have a foot massage after a long day sightseeing. There are a number of restaurants onsite which was great if you didn't want to venture out. The bar was more sociable with live music being played. Slightly pricey for the hotel but well worth the extra spend if you like a little bit of luxury. The second stay was in the executive suite on the top floor. Rooms were fairly similar to the superior room, however, the added benefit was breakfast could be taken in the small restaurant on this floor - much quieter than the main breakfast area in the 'Dining room' (which I found could be too busy), selection was smaller but the quality was much nicer and service much better. You could even have afternoon tea and happy hour here all included within the price. The executive room was more expensive than the superior room, however, this was a little extra to round off the holiday. Fabulous hotel - great staff and food. Highly recommended.

Best staff ever

I did got fever while i was staying in cinnamon lakside hotel. The staff of the hotel was best i have ever had in any hotel where i have been stayed. The staff did connect to the doctor. Also when i did need to go hospital to the blood samples two person of the staff and they own driver did come with me to the hospital to make things much easier. Couldn't hope more.
