You’ll never get bored gazing out at the endless views! There is no public footpath along this part of the sea wall, so you have ultimate privacy for sun bathing and al fresco dining.

Please note that there is wire fencing for safety along the sea wall, but children should always be supervised outside to prevent climbing.

There are two designated parking spaces at The Sea House. Additional cars can park on the road for free.

The Neighborhood:
Whether you want to stay in Selsey for a holiday or because you’re in the area to work, you’ll surely cherish being able to throw open the curtains every morning and see the sea. It’s something that can’t fail to raise a smile.

Selsey is an attractive seaside town on the southernmost point of the Manhood Peninsula. While cliff top walks, swimming and beach games may be top of your to do list, there are also plenty of great food and drinks spots nearby.

There are plenty of pubs and restaurants close to the house. The Seal has 5 star reviews for food. You'll also find two supermarkets and a bakery all within walking distance or a short drive. The renowned Crab and Lobster Restaurant in Sidlesham is a 10 minute drive away.

Getting Around:
Selsey is located about eight miles south of Chichester, at the southernmost point of the Manhood Peninsula.
By Car: The house is around two hours from London.
By Train: The nearest train station is Chichester Station which is around 20-minutes from the property. There is a regular bus service to Selsey.
By Air: The nearest airport is London, Gatwick which is around 1 ½ hrs from the house.

Other Things to Note:
★ WINDOW PROTECTORS ★

The house is so close to the sea that on very rare occasions, where strong winds are forecast, see through mesh screens are fitted on some windows to prevent damage to the glass.

★ BEACH ACCESS AND CHILDREN ★

There is no direct beach access from the house. Safe access to the beach is a 2 minute walk via the slipway. Rear garden is fully fenced but children should ALWAYS be supervised near sea wall to prevent climbing.

★ DOGS ★

A maximum of two small dogs are welcome at the house. Please keep dogs off furniture and clean up after them.

★ BUILDING WORK NEXT DOOR ★

The home next door is undergoing some renovations. While the main work is complete, there is ongoing building work, which may cause some noise at times. This should not have an impact on your stay but we like guests to be aware of this activity.
All outdoor work should be completed by 19/9/24. After this noise will be at a minimum.

Selsey Seafront House
Lovely house location. Great downstairs living space and outdoor space. For the cost of the cleaning fees, you would expect it to be immaculate, but many spots were overlooked. Top of fridges, floors weren't quite as clean and the windows were thick dirt (having a seafront property I know this is a tough task) but when you're charge a daily clean fee this should be covered. The location and space available is wonderful however, and I would recommend the place to people. I have also rented a couple of roads down, which was great too for larger parties. As a 4 bed house (5 if needed) this really does the trick though and having the sounds of the water through the night is something you will struggle to beat.

Christmas by the sea
A beautiful house right at the foot of the ocean, we stayed over Christmas while a small storm was passing through, the sea was ruff but it was incredible to be able to sit and watch the waves crashing while sipping champagne in the warm warm cosy house, can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer time staying at this house !! Ocean views are breathtaking!!!

Really beautiful comfortable with stunning views across the sea. Weather was temperamental at this time of the year about the house provided plenty if space for the family to enjoy indoor games, cooking and spending quality restful tine. Would recommend this holiday home.
