The price was good for an older town home in Charleston.Nice stay. The place needs a few updates but we have no complaints. Shadowmoss golf course borders the back of the units.

My wife and i really enjoyed this place!!! If you are looking for luxury? This isn't your place... But it was absolutely perfect for the cost and convenience... It was very quiet and relaxing!!! Can't wait to stay here again!!!

Huge disappointment this property is totally disgusting. The place was a mess. We were Notified as we were entering the building that the master bathroom was not working. It was a total disaster. The place was not clean. There was a wet tile saw in the shower. The ceiling fan was down. I could go on and on don’t ever.

Decent for the price
To start on a good note, the beds were very comfy and the sheets were the best sheets I’ve ever slept on! Although MOST of the condo was clean there was a small cigar butt on the floor and a sock left under the living room chair. I called the host and he said he would refund the cleaning fee (he didn’t). The pictures of the condo are old and everything has been changed to the point we thought we were in the wrong place. Everything was still nicely decorated and very tasteful just the decor and bedding had changed since the photos. The master bathroom was still not fixed but it is listed as a one bathroom, which was fine. Just confused on why it’s taken (judging by past reviews) a year to fix a shower. The location was decent, about 30 mins from downtown and isle of palms beach and 10-15 from most of the famous plantations.

Disappointing.
I would not book this place again. We had trouble getting in when we arrived. I called, no answer. We eventually got in and let the owner know; he never responded. I am not confident in his communication if we did have an issue. The main flooring is painted over, making it sticky. I stood in one spot for a few seconds and a significant section of paint stuck to my foot and peeled off the floor. It seems as though a family might live here when it isn't rented. There were (dirty) popsicle molds in the freezer and the closets were filled with misc. items. It was fairly clean. The shower could've used a good cleaning and the ice maker was dirty. It was fairly quiet and the A/C worked well. The listing is accurate in it being a one and a half bath; it doesn't mention that the second bathroom's shower is torn apart. There is one working shower. The toilet in the main bathroom stopped working; the tank wasn't refilling. The water to the toilet had been shut off; we were able to turn it back on and it worked thereafter. As other reviewers noted, the rugs are incredibly slippery. We moved them out of the way and used towels for bathmats. A handyman showed up Saturday morning while we were packing up before checking out. He had the access code and was told to come in and look at the broken shower. He was kind enough to wait until we left at our checkout time. This was alarming, as it hadn't been communicated to us that someone would be letting themselves in.

Not the best experience
When we went to check in at 3:10 pm the cleaning people were just leaving. The owner hadn't sent us the door code yet so I texted the owner. We got into the apartment and one of the toilets didn't work. The owner told us that he knew that the toilet wasn't working and that he was going to give us some money back. He never sent us any money. And when we messaged him twice with our venmo - he did not respond. He also said that a plumber was going to come over and fix the toilet. That never happened. He is a liar. I also saw in old reviews that one of the showers wasn't finished. I figured that the shower would be done by now. Nope. Not even close. Lastly when we got to the apartment it was 80 degrees. The dryer was running and I didn't think much of it. After I looked at the dryer closer I noticed that the dryer line was broke and was blowing hot humid air into the apartment. I let the owner know. I heard nothing. I have wrote the owner a couple of times about him sending us a refund. The owner has not written back.

This property was misrepresented. It was not clean. The sofa was filthy. The main bedroom bath was completely demolished in that the bath/shower had been completely demolished to be redone assumably. The thermostat was hanging loose from the wall and the air conditioner would not come on. There was no ice maker and no ice trays even to make ice. When the owner was notified of this and that we were not comfortable to even stay there he was rude and let us know immediately that he would not refund us. I would never recommend anyone to book this condo. The owner said when he was notified that we did not feel comfortable staying there that he wasn’t given the opportunity to correct the issues. Well if in 2 days he could clean or replace the filthy sofa, replace the demolished tub and shower, have the place properly cleaned and the air conditioner and thermostat repaired for our weekend stay… I would say he was a complete miracle worker. He did not refund my money and I told him that if he could in clear conscious not refund my money I would pray for him. Do NOT book this condo.

Short visit to Charleston
Plenty of kitchen space, outdoor screened porch with table and chairs, both bedrooms adequate in size, A/C works great, very quiet place and close to restaurants and shopping. All furniture is very dated and master bathroom shower needs to be completed, otherwise we had a good visit. This space is a 2 bedroom apartment (condominium) attached to other units.

Early Check-In??
I contacted the owner a few days before to see if we could get an early check-in time. He said he would let me know the next day. He never got back with me. I tried to contact him three more times. On the day of our arrival, he finally let me know that we could not check in early and the check in time would be 3 o’clock. That really complicated things for the wedding we were attending. If he had of let me know, we could have made other arrangements. When we did arrive, the commode in the front bathroom did not work. The second shower in the unit is being remodeled and has a very ugly appearance. Looks like the unit has been somewhat remodeled, but they painted all the ceramic tile flooring and it is very tacky and sticky. Overall, for the value we would stay there again in a pinch, but only because of the great rate that is offered. Prices in that area are sky high!

Charming & comfortable overlooking golf course
Charming very comfortable condo overlooking the golf course providing ease to our favorite places to visit including Folly Beach, downtown Charleston, John's Island Angel Tree and family. My husband I walked in the morning along the beautiful- golf course..short walk to grocery. Grocery shopping is at Lowes across the street. Cozy upstairs accommodations. Advertised as a one bath, we were pleased to see a bathroom connected to Master bath, we were informed right away of a renovation of shower replacement to the bathroom- half bath off master bedroom available now, so there will soon be two full bathrooms. Quiet view of the golf course from a very private porch. We awoke to the birds and enjoyed the sunset in the evening. There is a full kitchen- we enjoyed creating and sharing several meals together. The host stocked extra water bottles and keurig cups, coffee tea and apple cider. There were a couple rainy days, the condo is nicely heated when chilly outside. Hot shower, and washer and dryer worked great washing clothes. Loved the ice machine. Neighbors were friendly and kind. Easy check in and out. Manager checked in. There are bòoks to read, a chess set, free wi -fi. Overall we made lovely memories during our Christmas week stay. Thankful for our hosts kindness.

Hot Mess.
Well it was not at all pleasing. Condo parrking lot where we were told to park had a pile of dog poop. Top of the stairs had a beds head board. Place was not clean. One of the bathrooms was under construction. I spent to much time cleaning and on the phone with vrbo and trying to reach the host. Spent to much money 💰 on this place. Its no for me. Recommend you dont stay at this property.
