Good enough deal for the price, but there are some issues to be aware of, including inconsistent breakfast times and potentially bed bugs.
I just needed a place to crash after a late flight arrived and before an early train in the morning. I chose this place because breakfast was supposed to be served beginning at 7:00 a.m. It's directly across from the train station, and the airport shuttle is very convenient to it.
I booked a twin room and yes, you are handed your sheets and have to make your own bed because this is a hostel. You also have to rent a towel if you need one and didn't bring your own. No issues there. I was aware what I was getting into.
The room itself was fine and on one end, so there wasn't a lot of noise unless you opened the window (partiers).
My main issue: I waited outside the breakfast room from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and the door never opened, despite a dozen people outside knocking and trying to get the staff's attention. I waited as long as I could before I had to leave for the train station. It's disappointing that something I paid for was not provided and I hope my payment is adjusted as a result of this.
I also found that evening after I checked out that my legs were covered in sets of three red circles in a row, which I understand to be bed bugs. This could either have been from this hostel or my previous accommodation, but I understand they appear in a matter of hours after being bitten, and had not noticed them the night prior.
