We were visiting family in Woodford village, which the property was ideally located for (10 mins across fields via footpath, or a 3 minute drive). It is also ideally located for Bude, and perfect for access to the coastal path (another fantastic walk that we did).
The property itself is essentially a cottage attached to a manor house, with its own courtyard. The kitchen has everything you'd need (freezer compartment in the fridge), the TV has Freesat so plenty to keep you entertained during bad weather, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
It is powered by electric heating which was a touch on the cold side at night in the bedroom (there is also a very bright Wi-Fi booster in the bedroom that might cause an issue if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, so bring an eye mask), but everything else was absolutely perfect. It is a very tastefully decorated property and a great opportunity to stay at a manor house without the price-tag!!
Lovely owners with an amazing set of properties.
