The pictures don't do this place justice! It's beautifully rebuilt and decorated, yet still feels very homey. Deanna and Troy are the best hosts ever--they've anticipated every need their guests might have. Their hospitality is impeccable, as was their communication before, during, and after our stay.
Everything is done with quality in mind--linens, kitchen supplies, furnishings. We so appreciated having breakfast supplies ready for the first morning, along with a big bowl of snacks and a water dispenser so we didn't have to buy bottled water. There's also a closet with things you might have forgotten, like toothpaste and cotton balls. So very thoughtful!
The location is great, up above Brewery Gulch and a good brisk walk to Main Street. There's a very tight parking place on the street in front of the house, but we used the lot down below, which was never full. It meant climbing the hill and then the stairs to the house, but it was a good workout after all the eating and drinking. (This is definitely not the house for you if anyone in your party has mobility issues.)
We grew up in Bisbee when it was still a thriving mining town, and it's fun to stay in places there to see how they've been reimagined from their former lives as basic miner housing. But Copper Wren beats them all.
Huge thanks to Deanna and Troy for making our holiday the best!
